DZELUKOPE, Volta Region – Twenty-eight apprentices of the Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association [GNTDA] in the Dzelukope Tegbi Zone sat for a mock examination on Friday as part of preparations for their final assessment.
The examination was conducted simultaneously at two centers: Vui A.M.E Zion and Blekusu R.C.
At Vui A.M.E Zion, 14 candidates—4 male and 10 females—completed the four-hour test. Blekusu R.C. hosted 14 female apprentices for the same exercise.
Godsway Adabla, Exam Coordinator for the zone, said the mock examination was designed to evaluate the apprentices’ readiness and to familiarize them with the structure of the final exam.
“The mock exam is to prepare them for the final exam,” Adabla said. “It also helps us identify areas where additional support may be needed before the main assessment.”
The GNTDA uses mock examinations as a standard practice to assess practical and theoretical competence before candidates proceed to certification.
