On Tuesday, 26th May 2026, Hon. Victoria joined colleague MMDCEs at the Ho Municipal Assembly in Ho for the official launch of the Nkoko Nkitinkiti Programme in the Volta Region under Government’s Feed Ghana Programme.
The initiative is expected to create employment opportunities, improve household incomes, strengthen food security and support young entrepreneurs through poultry farming across the region. With the allocation of 180,000 day-old chicks to the Volta Region, many beneficiaries will have the opportunity to build sustainable livelihoods and expand agribusiness activities.
The Hon. DCE commend H.E. John Dramani Mahama, the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, and all stakeholders for this impactful intervention. I remain committed to supporting programmes that empower our people and contribute to the economic growth and development of North Tongu.
