Hon. James Gunu receive the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Library Authority, Mr. Ziblim Alhassan, and his delegation on a courtesy call at the Volta Regional Co-ordinating Council.
The discussions was focused on the state of library facilities in the Volta Region and ongoing efforts to improve access to quality learning spaces for students and the public.
The Hon. Minister said he was encouraged by the update that the contractor for the Regional Library at Ho is expected to return to site soon, while the Hohoe Library project has been completed and is ready for use.
He commend the Ghana Library Authority for prioritizing library development in the region and reaffirm my commitment to working closely with the Authority, the Ministry of Education, and Ghana Education Trust Fund to ensure the timely completion and operationalization of the Volta Regional Library project.
