Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, joined Republic Bank Ghana, traditional leaders, and school authorities for the inauguration of a mechanized borehole project at Taviefe Senior High School. Also in attendance was the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ho Central, Hon. Stephen Adom.
The Minister commended the bank for supporting the government’s efforts to improve access to clean water and sanitation in schools and communities across the region.
Managing Director of Republic Bank Ghana, Dr. Benjamin Dzoboku, stated that the project forms part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility initiatives aimed at promoting good health, dignity, and improved academic performance.
The ceremony included the official commissioning, plaque unveiling, and handover of the facility to the school and community leaders.
