A Police Officer, Chief Inspector Emmanuel Amoah who is stationed at Odorkor Divisional MTTD has committed suicide in his bedroom at a Police Rented Quarters located at Abossey Okai Post Office area, Accra. This incident happened yesterday, 14th May, 2026 at about 12:35 pm.
The deceased was found with a sponge tied around his neck hanged onto a wooden crossed bar with the deceased sitting on the floor by his bed. Further inspection of the body revealed what appeared to be a fresh blood coming out of the anus of the deceased. The bedroom was found not to be disturbed. Measurement from where the sponge was tied on the crossed bar to the resultant position of the deceased was taken and it measured, 6 feet.
