A Methodist elder has advised Ghanaian men to marry early instead of waiting till old age before settling down.
Speaking during a sermon, he said every sound and responsible man should be married by the age of 30.
According to him, delaying marriage for too long could make life difficult later, especially when raising young children at an old age – pension!
“Get married early so that you don’t use your pension money to buy pampers,” he said, causing laughter among the congregation.
His comments have sparked reactions online, with some people agreeing with him while others believe financial stability is more important before marriage.
