Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang engaged members of the Ghanaian community in Toronto, Canada, where she conveyed the warm greetings of President John Dramani Mahama and provided updates on key government programmes and national development priorities.
The Vice President highlighted progress being made across critical sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, and economic transformation, underscoring government’s commitment to improving the lives of Ghanaians both at home and abroad.
She outlined major initiatives under the Reset Agenda, including the 24-Hour Economy programme, the Big Push infrastructure initiative, Feed Ghana, Farmer Service Centres, the No-Fees Stress Policy, MahamaCares, Free Primary Healthcare, and the Women’s Development Bank, all aimed at expanding opportunities, creating jobs, supporting businesses, and promoting inclusive growth.
Vice President Opoku-Agyemang reaffirmed government’s commitment to building a stronger, more prosperous, and more inclusive Ghana, while encouraging continued engagement between the Ghanaian diaspora and national development efforts.
