The Head of the School Examinations Administration Department at the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), Lillian Frimpong, has raised concerns over the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) by students to answer examination questions.
According to her, the trend is becoming alarming and requires urgent attention by stakeholders to preserve the integrity of examinations.
She noted that WAEC is monitoring the situation and will continue to put measures in place to curb examination malpractices including the misuse of AI.
