It was a moment of joy in the Ho Municipality as Member of Parliament for Ho Central, Hon. Richmond Edem Kofi Kpotosu, together with the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Stephen Adom, and the Municipal Education Directorate, led an inspection team from the World Bank and Parliament’s Education Committee on a site inspection for the first-ever STEM School in the Volta Region.

The project, to be sited at Akoefe Avenue, received a major boost after chiefs and elders of the community offered land for its construction.

According to Hon. Kpotosu, the project is more than just a site visit — it represents the future of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics education for children in Ho and the entire Volta Region.

He commended the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama for his vision and commitment to regional development and educational equity across the country.

Residents say the initiative, when completed, will provide world-class opportunities for young people in the region and bridge the gap in STEM education.
