NORTH DAYI – The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, has commissioned two 10,000-litre capacity mechanized boreholes and cut sod for six educational infrastructure projects in the North Dayi Constituency.
The working visit, under Phase II of his _“Water for All Project”_, saw the commissioning of mechanized boreholes at Anfoega Senior High School and Vakpo Senior High Technical School.
The facilities, powered by both the national grid and solar energy, are expected to provide a reliable supply of safe water to students and staff at all times.

Together with the Member of Parliament for North Dayi, Hon. Joycelyn Tetteh Quarshie, and the District Chief Executive, Hon. Ernest Adevor, the Regional Minister also cut sod for the following projects:
1. 18-unit classroom block at Vakpo Senior High Technical School
2. Two-storey boys’ dormitory at Vakpo Senior High Technical School
3. Two-storey girls’ dormitory at Anfoega Senior High School
4. Three-unit classroom block at Avevi-Denui D/A JHS
5. Three-unit classroom block at Tsrukpe Zanukofe D/A JHS
6. Three-unit classroom block at Bofoku Bradafornu D/A JHS
Hon. Gunu assured residents that all the projects have secured funding and will be closely monitored to ensure timely completion.
He said the initiative aligns with the vision of H.E. President John Dramani Mahama to eliminate abandoned projects and expand access to quality education.
To promote sports development, the Regional Minister also donated two footballs and a set of jerseys each to Anfoega Senior High School, Vakpo Senior High School, and Vakpo Senior High Technical School.
