ACCRA – A man identified as Nana Yaw has been arrested after being accused of posing as a pastor to allegedly defraud multiple women through fake marriage prophecies.
A video of the suspect’s apprehension, which has since gone viral on social media, shows him being confronted by individuals who accused him of orchestrating the fraudulent scheme.
According to allegations made by one of the purported victims, the suspect targeted women by claiming that “God had revealed” they were destined to become his wives.
Using the alleged divine revelations, he reportedly gained their trust and persuaded them to hand over large sums of money in US dollars.
> “He is a scammer who has scammed multiple women — more than 10 women. He claims to be a pastor. He tells the women the Lord said they are his wives, then targets them and scams them. We are talking about heavy dollars,” the victim alleged.
The victim further described him as a serial scammer who preyed on unsuspecting individuals under the guise of ministry.
The footage has generated widespread reactions online, with many social media users expressing shock and calling for a thorough investigation into the matter.
