JUAPONG – A fire outbreak at Juapong Island Spot in the early hours of today, Wednesday, 23rd July, destroyed a motorcycle spare parts shop.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire started around 7:00am and quickly engulfed the entire shop, burning all items inside.

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) responded to the scene and managed to bring the fire under control.

No lives were lost in the incident.

The GNFS has commenced investigations to determine the actual cause of the fire.

Authorities are yet to ascertain the total cost of damage.
