VOLTA REGION – The Volta Regional Coordinator of the United Africa Movement (UAM), Fiadugbe Peter Sedudzi, is encouraging Ghanaian youth to prioritize national unity over political affiliations, saying the future of the country depends on their collective effort.
In a statement titled _”THE YOUTH OF GHANA: ONE PEOPLE, ONE DESTINY”_, Mr. Sedudzi said young people must see themselves first as Ghanaians before identifying with parties such as NDC, NPP, CPP, or any other group.
He said:
> “The future of Ghana depends largely on the unity and determination of its youth. As young citizens, we must stop seeing ourselves first as members of political parties such as NDC, NPP, CPP, or any other group. Before politics, we are Ghanaians. Our collective responsibility is to work together as one people with a common purpose—to build a peaceful, prosperous, and developed nation for present and future generations.”
According to him, the greatest strength of the youth lies in education, innovation, and hard work. He urged young people to focus on acquiring knowledge, developing skills, and creating opportunities instead of allowing political differences to divide them.
Mr. Sedudzi also called on the youth to reject social vices including drug abuse, violence, internet fraud, and indiscipline, noting that every young person has the potential to become a leader, entrepreneur, professional, or change-maker.
> “By embracing integrity, discipline, and responsibility, we can become positive examples and inspire others to follow the path of success,” he added.
As Volta Regional Coordinator of UAM, he encouraged every young Ghanaian to believe in themselves and in the greatness of the nation.
> “Let us rise above division, embrace unity, and work together to build the Ghana we desire. The future is not something we wait for—it is something we create through our actions today,” he concluded.
