Following a successful opening ceremony, the 2026 Ampem EduCamp has commenced classroom sessions with 412 participants in Asuogyaman Constituency.
The day’s activities began on Monday with Creative Arts, where students enthusiastically engaged in drawing, painting, and other hands-on artistic exercises.
The interactive lessons encouraged *creativity, teamwork, and self-expression, creating a vibrant and enjoyable learning environment for the campers.
Impact already showing
Speaking to _Daily Newsflash_, Mr. Karim, Personal Assistant to the Member of Parliament for Asuogyaman, said the initiative is already yielding results.
He noted that students who attended last year’s Ampem EduCamp performed better in this year’s BECE, a development he described as proof of the program’s impact.
“The Honorable MP dreams that in the next 15 years, when we are looking for professionals who will help in national discussion or national development, Asuogyaman Constituency will also be part,” Mr. Karim said.
“He believes Asuogyaman will produce many dignitaries such as Lawyers, Doctors, Engineers, and more.”
No brilliant child left behind
Mr. Karim added that the core vision of the EduCamp remains unchanged.
“The dream remains one: that financial burdens will not be a hindrance to any brilliant student in Asuogyaman,” he stated.
Organizers say the engaging start to this year’s camp sets the tone for an exciting, enriching, and impactful learning experience that will run over the coming days.
The Ampem EduCamp initiative is designed to provide free intensive holiday tuition, mentorship, and life-skills training to basic school learners in the constituency.
