The District Chief Executive for North Tongu, Honorable Victoria Amefadze, participated in the National Development Conference organized by The Church of Pentecost – General Headquarters at the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC), Gomoa Fetteh, under the theme “Moral Vision and National Development.”
The conference convened Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs), government officials, traditional authorities, representatives from academia, civil society organizations, faith leaders, and other key stakeholders to discuss Ghana’s development agenda.
Distinguished national figures were featured at the conference, including Apostle Eric Nyamekye, PhD, Chairman of The Church of Pentecost; H.E. Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, represented by Hon. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo; Rt. Hon. Alban S.K. Bagbin, Speaker of Parliament of Ghana; His Lordship Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, Chief Justice; Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, President of the National House of Chiefs; Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu, Spokesperson for the National Chief Imam; Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim MP, Minister for Local Government and Religious Affairs; and Hon. Julius Debrah, Chief of Staff, who served as the Guest of Honour. The conference provided valuable insights into moral leadership, economic transformation, education, healthcare, job creation, and sustainable national development.
Honorable Amefadze commended The Church of Pentecost for this commendable initiative and expressed her commitment to applying the knowledge and experiences gained to support the ongoing growth and transformation of North Tongu.
