Anuma Samuel, a 45-year-old farmer widely known as Degue, has tragically passed away due to a gunshot wound to the chest. This incident transpired this morning at his residence in the Tewia community, located in Atiwa East.
As reported by eyewitnesses and family members, the deceased was a husband and father to seven children.
In an interview, his wife, Madam Adobea Jennette, indicated that a disagreement arose this morning when their youngest child requested financial assistance from his father for school. She stated that the father declined the request, which escalated into the unfortunate incident.
The police have been informed, and the body has been transferred to the morgue while investigations are ongoing. Authorities have yet to provide additional information.
