The announcement was made on the mission’s official Facebook page on Sunday, June 21, 2026, through a congratulatory message accompanied by a video celebrating his assumption of the role. The post described the installation as a “significant milestone” and expressed hopes for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance as he undertakes this responsibility.

The mission further stated that the legacy of its founder, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, would continue to inspire and thrive for generations to come.

This development occurs amidst reports of a court injunction aimed at halting the installation process, as well as reports of a shooting incident involving the former Dome-Kwabenya Member of Parliament, Sarah Adwoa Safo.
