Asuogyaman – The Assembly Member for the Asikumah Electoral Area, Honourable Faustina Tilla, has stated that her decision to contest for the position of Deputy Women Organizer for Asuogyaman is driven by a desire to serve the people, particularly those at the grassroots, and not for titles.
Hon. Tilla made this known during a one-on-one interview on the Aguadze Morning Show on Ahenfo 93.3 FM with DJ Boss Pee on Monday morning.
Speaking on the show, the Honourable Assembly Member said with her experience as an Assembly Member, she is well-positioned to support the substantive Women Organizer to mobilize young women in the district if given the opportunity.
“Opportunities have been given to some people in the past, but after they are elected, they abandon the work. As for me, my vision is to serve the people and not for the title,” she stressed.
She added that her focus would be on strengthening the women’s wing and ensuring active participation of women at the grassroots level.
