The Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) has announced a new producer price for the 2026/2027 cocoa season.
The new price has been increased from GH¢41,392 to GH¢42,400 per tonne, effective today, Friday, September 25, 2026.
This translates to GH¢2,650 per 64kg bag of cocoa beans.
According to COCOBOD Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Randy Abbey, the adjustment followed extensive consultations with key stakeholders across the cocoa value chain.
The new price takes effect immediately for all cocoa purchases for the 2026/27 season.
