At the invitation of His Excellency Hon. Kojo Bonsu, Ghana’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, a high-powered delegation of Volta Chiefs led by the President of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs, Togbe Tepre Hodo IV (Anfoega), has arrived in China on a strategic investment tour.
The delegation, which is being coordinated by Mr. Peter Ahiakpor, a proud son of Volta and distinguished businessman, includes Togbe Gabusu VII (Hohoe), Togbe Atikpladza Agbi Yao VIII (Kpalime), Togbe Sei II (Botoku), Togbe Dagadu IX (Kpando), Togbe Tenge Dzokoto Gligui VII (Anyako), and Togbe Adama III (Some).
The delegation was warmly received at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport by H.E. Ambassador Kojo Bonsu, a team of leading Chinese business executives, Mr. Jiang Jia Hua and Mr. Blaze Li of Sinohui Investment Corporation, and Hon. Aku-Sika Kpene, daughter of the land and Board Member of Produce Buying Company (Shea).
According to information available, the visit aims to explore concrete investment partnerships to address the developmental challenges of the Volta Region, with a focus on:
