A court has granted bail to the tune of GH¢100,000 with no surety to Mrs. Charlotte Siaw, who was arrested in connection with the death of her husband, Mr. Felix Antwi, after 42 years of marriage.

According to reports, Mr. Antwi had earlier lodged a complaint with the police, alleging that his wife and two houseboys had attempted to poison him. Tragically, he died the following day in a fire outbreak at his residence, from which his wife reportedly escaped unhurt.

Further investigations, including an autopsy report, allegedly revealed that the deceased was assaulted before being burnt. Following the incident, the wife and the two houseboys were arrested by the police.

However, the decision to grant bail to Mrs. Siaw has left the children of the deceased dissatisfied, with some family members calling for her re-arrest as investigations continue.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
