DAILY NEWSFLASH – The High-Level Committee of Experts established by President John Dramani Mahama to develop a Strategy Document, Priority Pillars and Work Programme for his 2027 African Union Chairmanship has concluded its mandate.
The Committee presented five reports to President Mahama at the Presidency on Friday.
It was an honour to hand over the reports to the President as Chair of the Committee and to present the highlights of the findings.
President Mahama’s tenure as AU Chair is expected to be transformative and impactful, owing to the rigorous preparatory work undertaken and his bold vision for the continent.
The Committee expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve both Ghana and Africa, and conveyed its best wishes to President Mahama as he prepares to assume the Chairmanship in January 2027.
