Battor, North Tongu – The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has donated GHS100,000.00 towards the construction of a kindergarten facility at the Battor Catholic Hospital.
The donation was made during the official launch of the hospital’s 70th Anniversary celebrations.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Ablakwa announced that the Government of Ghana will also support the hospital with a modern, expanded, and fully equipped theatre befitting its status as a key healthcare facility that has saved thousands of lives in North Tongu and beyond.
He described the initial donation as a privilege, noting that the kindergarten project by staff will help young parents with babies to have their children cared for within the hospital premises as they focus on work.
The MP commended the management and staff of Battor Catholic Hospital for making the facility renowned for excellence in healthcare, particularly in obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, oncology, and cervical cancer research and treatment.
