Akosombo, Asuogyaman – Member of Parliament for Asuogyaman, Hon. Thomas Ampem Nyarko, has fulfilled his pledge to repair the Asuogyaman National Ambulance stationed at Akosombo, with a donation of GHS 30,000.

The intervention follows an urgent appeal made during the MP’s recent volleyball tournament in the constituency. While serving as Master of Ceremonies, the host, Aboagye, was approached by staff of the Ghana Ambulance Service, Akosombo Station, who raised concerns that the district’s only ambulance had broken down.

Seizing the moment, Hon. Ampem Nyarko immediately promised the people of Asuogyaman that the vehicle would be fixed at an estimated cost of GHS 26,000.

In a remarkable show of commitment, the MP has now gone beyond the initial pledge. According to Mr. Addison Asante of the Ghana Ambulance Service, Hon. Ampem Nyarko has donated GHS 30,000 to ensure the ambulance is fully restored and equipped to respond to emergencies.

The donation is expected to significantly improve emergency healthcare delivery and save lives across Asuogyaman.

Staff of the Ambulance Service and constituents have expressed gratitude to the MP for his swift response and dedication to the health and well-being of the people.
