The 1977 Year Group of Akwamuman Senior High School on Monday, August 10, 2026, presented a new school signage to the school authorities as part of efforts to give back to their alma mater.
The donation was made on behalf of the year group by Dr. Kwaku Ofosu-Asare, Year Group President, together with Mr. Patrick Asiedu and Madam Augustina Offei.
Call to other year groups
According to the group, the gesture is intended to lead the charge and encourage other year groups to emulate similar initiatives in support of the school.
The delegation also used the opportunity to urge all year groups to support the National Akwamuman Alumni Association’s efforts toward its maiden project.
The presentation was received by the school authorities, who expressed appreciation to the 1977 year group for their contribution and commitment to the development of Akwamuman Senior High School.
