The Managing Director of Zoomlion Ghana Limited, Mrs. Doris Kwekwor Adjei, has paid a courtesy call on the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, at the Volta Regional Coordinating Council to discuss strengthened collaboration on environmental sanitation.
The meeting was aimed at formally introducing the new Zoomlion MD to the regional leadership and exploring areas of partnership to improve waste management across the region.
Commitment to cleaner Volta
Addressing the Minister, Mrs. Adjei reaffirmed Zoomlion Ghana’s commitment to supporting sanitation and waste management initiatives in the Volta Region.
She said the company is ready to work closely with the Volta Regional Coordinating Council, Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies, and other stakeholders to promote a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment.
“We are committed to partnering with the RCC to ensure that waste is properly managed and our communities remain clean and safe for residents,” she stated.
RCC pledges support
Welcoming the delegation, Hon. James Gunu said environmental sanitation remains a key priority for the Regional Coordinating Council.
He reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with Zoomlion Ghana to enhance sanitation standards across the region.
The Minister expressed confidence that the renewed collaboration will contribute significantly to improving public health and environmental cleanliness in the Volta Region.
The courtesy call forms part of Zoomlion Ghana’s engagements with regional authorities to align its operations with local sanitation priorities under the government’s broader clean environment agenda.
