OBUASI, Ashanti Region – The headmaster of Obuasi Senior High School was reportedly assaulted by students on campus following allegations that he buried a newborn baby.
The incident left the headmaster badly beaten and “beyond recognition,” according to eyewitnesses.
School authorities and security officials have intervened. Investigations are ongoing to ascertain the facts behind the allegations that sparked the attack.
The Ghana Education Service is yet to issue an official statement on the matter.
