GHANA – A 27-year-old man is receiving treatment in hospital after he was allegedly attacked by his girlfriend on Monday, July 27, 2026.
According to reports, the incident occurred after the woman discovered her boyfriend’s intention to marry another lady over the weekend.
Sources say an argument broke out between the two, during which the girlfriend allegedly attacked the man with a sharp object, causing him serious injury.
The victim was rushed to hospital for medical attention and is reported to be in stable condition.
Police have confirmed they are investigating the matter. As of the time of filing this report, no formal charges have been announced.
Authorities are urging the public to seek peaceful means of resolving relationship disputes and to report cases of domestic violence to the police or the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit, DOVVSU.
