A viral TikTok video depicting the alleged residence of the late Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah in Kwahu Obomeng has sparked online concern, highlighting considerable neglect of the property nearly one year following his demise.

Social media influencer Gyidifo Landlord shared the footage on Monday, July 6, 2026, guiding viewers through the expansive white-walled mansion, which featured iron gates and appeared to have remained untouched since Dr. Omane Boamah’s passing. The surrounding area was overgrown with thick vegetation, and the walls were visibly deteriorating, with paint peeling.

Throughout the video, Gyidifo Landlord referenced Job 16:22, a biblical verse that contemplates mortality.

Dr. Omane Boamah tragically passed away on August 6, 2025, in a military helicopter crash near Obuasi in the Ashanti Region, alongside seven others while en route to an anti-galamsey event.
