The esteemed media personality confirmed his resignation in a video shared by Sirr Joe on Facebook on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, following months of speculation regarding his future with the media organization.
Kojo Dickson noted that he had received numerous phone calls and text messages from viewers and listeners inquiring about his absence from radio and television in recent weeks.
He clarified that he had chosen to remain silent, awaiting the appropriate moment to publicly address the situation.
“I decided to keep quiet until the right time to speak, and I believe that time is now,” he stated.
The veteran broadcaster announced that he has officially resigned from the Angel Broadcasting Network and is embarking on a new chapter in his professional career.
Kojo Dickson served as the General Manager of Angel 102.9 FM and Angel TV, significantly contributing to the operations and growth of the station during his tenure with the company.
Despite his departure, the broadcaster expressed gratitude to the management of Angel Broadcasting Network for the opportunity to serve.
He specifically acknowledged the founder of the network, Dr. Kwaku Oteng, as well as the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Samuel Acheampong, for their support throughout his time at the media organization.
