The District Chief Executive of North Tongu conducted an inspection at Aklamador regarding the damaged culvert on the main road, which poses a danger to road users. This initiative was prompted by an advocate from Tongu Global, a prominent social media blogger in the region.
In a conversation with the DCE for North Tongu, Hon. Victoria Amefadzi Yawa Doe, she confirmed that materials will be transported to the site on either July 5 or July 6, 2026, to commence repairs on the damaged road.
Additionally, there is a location in Lasivenu that has also sustained damage. The DCE has assured that repairs for both sites will begin on the aforementioned dates.
