The Asuogyaman District Assembly today joined the rest of the nation in observing the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving under the theme:
“Resetting Our Values to Build the Ghana We Want.”
The programme brought together the District Coordinating Director, all Heads of Departments and Units, Assembly staff, religious leaders, traditional authorities, security services, and members of the public in a spirit of unity to offer prayers of thanksgiving and seek God’s guidance for the peace, unity, and development of Ghana.
Delivering his address, the Hon. District Chief Executive, Hon. Godwin Bobobee, reiterated the importance of the day’s theme, emphasizing that rebuilding Ghana begins with a renewed commitment to integrity, discipline, accountability, patriotism, hard work, and respect for one another. He called on all citizens to embrace these values in their homes, workplaces, and communities, stressing that national transformation is a shared responsibility.
The presence of the District Coordinating Director, Heads of Departments and Units, and the entire staff of the Assembly demonstrated the Assembly’s collective commitment to promoting national unity, moral renewal, and responsible leadership.
As we reflect on our shared responsibility to build a better Ghana, may we continue to uphold the values that unite us and work together to create a peaceful, prosperous, and inclusive nation for generations to come.
