A student attending Pantang Nursing and Midwifery College in Accra has been victimized by a robbery involving a sum of Ghc 180,000, intended for examination practicals. This amount represents a collective contribution from final year students to procure necessary items for their practical assessments.

Daniella Sedziafa recounts that two assailants on motorbikes intercepted her as she approached the school gate, forcibly taking the money. She had withdrawn the funds from a bank located in Madina prior to the incident.

In an interview with Crime Check, Daniella expressed her belief that the robbers followed her to the campus, having noticed her possession of a substantial amount of money, and subsequently stole it when she alighted at the school’s car park.

This unfortunate event has significantly disrupted academic progress, necessitating the postponement of the practical examination until 2027. Daniella has conveyed her distress over the situation, admitting she is considering suicide.
