The coach of the Black Stars, Carlos Queiroz, has conveyed a resolute message in anticipation of Ghana’s upcoming World Cup match against England.
In his pre-game remarks, Queiroz expressed confidence in Ghana’s readiness to face the challenge posed by England, despite their formidable reputation.
“We may be up against three lions, but we have the support of 33 million lions,” he stated, alluding to the millions of Ghanaians rallying behind the Black Stars.
Both England and Ghana emerged victorious in their initial matches, rendering Tuesday’s Group L match a critical one. A victory for Ghana would secure their advancement to the subsequent stage of the tournament.
