Adwoa Safo’s kid brother, Obed Kantaka has shared his side of what really happened and why her sister had to rush to the event ground to find answers to questions.
“All of us reached a consensus that, until our father is buried, no one should be chosen as leader of the Kristo Asafo Church and that we would all wait for His will to be read then we will know who he chose as the leader, and that all of us would support the person as siblings.
“So it was something all of the siblings and other elders agreed to then out of the blue, we heard of a program being organised to install Nana Kwadwo Akofena as the leader of the church and so my sister called me and the other siblings and told all of us to meet her at the event grounds to question, why they had chosen to do something contrary to what we had all agreed to.”
“Honorable was always of the opinion that, he doesn’t want the male siblings to fight each other but the moment the old man decides everything, all will be settled and everyone must respect that decision”
“My sister later called me that day to tell me she had been shot and she drove herself to Atomic Police station and when I arrived there, she was bl++ding profusely. Over 30 bullets on her car so I picked sister up for first aid before rushing her to the hospital”
“And rumours that she had a gun and gave a warning sh*t are not true. She had nothing like that and the car is currently parked at the police station”
