The Ho Municipal Assembly has announced a temporary road diversion along the stretch from HTU Junction to Nogora Junction to allow for the repair and reconstruction of a culvert that has caved in on the route.
According to the Assembly, the diversion has become necessary to ensure the safety of motorists, commuters, pedestrians, and other road users while construction works are carried out on the damaged infrastructure.
The Assembly indicated that the closure of the affected section will facilitate the smooth execution of the repair works and help prevent potential accidents during the construction period.
Motorists are therefore advised to use the designated alternative routes and strictly comply with traffic signs as well as directions from traffic management personnel to ensure the free flow of traffic and public safety.
The Ho Municipal Assembly apologized for the inconvenience the diversion may cause and appealed to residents and road users to exercise patience and cooperate with authorities as efforts are made to restore the affected culvert and improve the road network.
