The disagreement originated from allegations of unpaid hostel fees purportedly owed by the student and some of her peers. The teacher, who reportedly serves as the hostel caretaker, was allegedly insisting on the payment of the outstanding fees when tensions escalated.
In the video recording, voices captured by Daily View Gh can be heard during the heated exchange and altercation, with one student expressing frustration over the recurring confrontations.
The student is heard stating, “Sir, remove all the Form Three students from the room instead of confronting us every day over money.”
The precise circumstances that led to the altercation remain unclear.
The incident is reported to have occurred at Nyinahin Catholic Senior High School in the Atwima Mponua District in the Ashanti Region.
