On Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026, the South Tongu CDD GH-SARIS Team engaged the esteemed residents of Adutor in a discussion on corruption and its associated issues. Corruption is defined as the misuse of entrusted power for personal gain. It manifests in various forms, including bribery, fraud, embezzlement, extortion, conflict of interest, favoritism, nepotism, facilitation fees, illegal contributions, and abuse of discretion.
The team provided valuable insights to the residents of Adutor on this topic and was pleased to note that the message was well-received. This initiative was supported by CDD-Ghana – the Ghana Center for Democratic Development, in collaboration with the European Union in the UK, the European Union in Ghana, Transparency International, and the Anti-Corruption Unit.
