On Thursday, 4th June 2026, communities across the North Tongu District actively participated in the National Sanitation Day exercise, demonstrating our collective commitment to maintaining a clean and healthy environment. This commendable effort came despite the heavy rains experienced across the district the previous day.
I wish to express my sincere appreciation to the DEFO, Mr. Gideon Amegbor, and the DFO, Mr. Divine Seckey, for their exemplary leadership and coordination of the exercise in my absence. I also commend all Assembly staff, stakeholders, community leaders and residents who contributed to the success of the exercise.
Together, we will continue to promote environmental cleanliness and build a healthier North Tongu for all.
