Education in Ketu North is set for a major boost as a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) workshop for teachers officially begins across the constituency.
The initiative, sponsored by Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, the Member of Parliament for Ketu North, aims to support over 1,200 teachers and education staff in public basic schools, senior high schools, and the Municipal Education Directorate.
The training forms part of the National Teaching Council’s 2025 CPD requirements and will focus on classroom management, learner assessment, leadership development, and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve teaching and learning.
The workshops will be held in phases from May to June 2026, with teachers expected to gain practical skills to improve teaching quality and learner outcomes.
The MP described the programme as an investment in the future of education in Ketu North, urging all teachers and stakeholders to actively participate.
