A nurse has tragically lost her life in the line of duty in the Sissala West District following a fatal motor accident.
The deceased, Madam Nafisah Adama, an enrolled nurse working with the Kusali CHPS compound, had travelled to the Gwollu Health Center to collect medicines for the facility.
While returning to the CHPS compound, she was involved in a collision with a tricycle, which sadly claimed her life.
Her passing highlights the difficult and often dangerous conditions health workers in deprived communities face daily as they work tirelessly to deliver essential healthcare services, often with little public recognition of their sacrifices.
