Emotional and disturbing scenes unfolded at the Sakumono Ramsar Site during a recent demolition exercise, as a 75-year-old man was captured on video being beaten by security personnel, just moments after his only home was pulled down.

The elderly man, already heartbroken and devastated, had approached the officers to confront them about his belongings still trapped inside the demolished structure.

In the viral video currently trending, he could be seen speaking with a heavy, grief-stricken voice before the situation turned physical.

A viral clip captures the heartbreaking moment security personnel pounced on the man at the site, shortly after he confronted them, his voice soaked in grief, about his possessions still being in that room.

But the beating wasn’t the beginning of his pain. Earlier, the old man had broken down in tears, revealing that his children’s school uniforms and books were still inside the room when the bulldozers moved in.

According to him, no prior notice was given before the demolition began.

“All of my properties are still inside that room,” he said, his voice trembling. “Even if God gives an order, it must pass through a human being.”

For him, Tuesday’s demolition didn’t just destroy a building; it erased everything he had worked for his entire life.

With no warning and no chance to retrieve even basic belongings, he said he now has nothing left.
