Development and security in the Akatsi North District have received a major boost following a high-level consultative meeting between the District Chief Executive, Hon. Bless Katamani, and a delegation from the Southern Command of the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS).
The discussions centered on the establishment of a permanent district office to enhance border security and administrative efficiency. To ensure immediate operations, the GIS will begin work in a temporary office space provided by the Assembly, while plans for the construction of a dedicated permanent structure are finalized. This partnership marks a critical step forward in bringing essential government services closer to the people of Akatsi North.
