A man identified as Charles Tombe from Khartoum, Sudan, was reportedly caught in an inappropriate act with a neighbor’s goat by local authorities.
Rather than handing down a conventional punishment, the local council chose a rare traditional form of justice by ordering him to “marry” the goat.
According to reports, Tombe was made to pay a dowry of about 15,000 Sudanese dinars (around $50 at the time) to the goat’s owner and assume responsibility for the animal, named Rose.
