MANYA KROBO – The people of Manya Krobo celebrate Ngmayem to display their rich culture, tradition and heritage. During this celebration, many people travel from far and near to join.
This year, the traditional leaders of Manya Krobo have successfully launched the 133rd edition of the remarkable festival.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Deputy Director of Tourism who was also the Chairman of the occasion, Dr. Abeku Santana, said the Ghana Tourism Authority pledges its support to the Traditional Council to embrace Ngmayem not only as a celebration but also as an opportunity to experience Manya Krobo – its foods, its tradition, its people, the music and their warm hospitality.
He also urged the people of Manya Krobo to invite friends and family across the country to join the milestone celebration.
The Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Rita Adjei Awatey, also said the Ministry will fully support the celebration to make it a mega milestone.
Many dignitaries graced the occasion including the clergy, traditional leaders and many more.
