DAILY NEWSFLASH – Nine Blue Water Guards have reportedly been arrested by the National Anti-Illegal Mining Operations Secretariat (NAIMOS) at Manso Adubia in the Ashanti Region.
According to reports, the guards were allegedly taking bribes and impersonating NAIMOS operatives.
Management of the Blue Water Guards has warned all personnel to desist from such misconduct, stressing that no Blue Water Guard is authorised to act as a NAIMOS operative.
Authorities have cautioned that anyone found engaging in such acts will face the full rigours of the law.
