Six individuals are feared to have lost their lives following the capsizing of a canoe in Sanayili, located within the Wulensi District of the Northern Region.
The victims were reportedly returning from a funeral service in Zonyohini when their canoe overturned and was carried away by strong currents.
Among the deceased are one man, four women, and a child.
As of now, four bodies have been recovered, while search operations continue for the remaining two individuals.
