The District Chief Executive (DCE), Honorable Victoria Amefadze, has announced the successful restoration of electricity to Ngorlekpoe and Zadola after several months of power outages attributed to damaged transformers. This achievement follows extensive engagements by her office, in collaboration with the Member of Parliament and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, with the relevant authorities to secure a sustainable solution to this issue. She expressed appreciation for the patience and understanding demonstrated by residents during this challenging period.
While celebrating the restoration of power to these communities, she reaffirmed her commitment to ensuring that Gbetekpo receives the necessary intervention at the earliest opportunity. Honorable Victoria extended her gratitude to H.E. John Dramani Mahama, the Member of Parliament, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), and all stakeholders whose support contributed to this successful outcome. Together, we will continue to strive diligently to enhance the quality of life for the residents of North Tongu.
