MY VICTORY SONG (Crying Out to God)

“In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, and my cry entered His ears.” 2 Samuel 22:7 NKJV

God listens to the prayers of His people. In this verse, David was not speaking hypothetically. He had faced danger, opposition, betrayal, and moments of deep distress. Yet in every season, he knew where to turn; and he cried out to God.

Prayer is not a last resort for believers. It should be our first response. When challenges come, the temptation often is to worry, complain, or rely solely on our own strength but David teaches us to call upon God.

Prayer is not a sign of weakness; it is a declaration of dependence. It’s an acknowledgement that God is greater than any situation you face. When you pray, heaven responds, and God does not stay silent.

Perhaps there’s an area in your life where you need God’s intervention today. Do not carry the burden alone. Take it to Him in prayer and trust that He hears every cry.

Fire2Fire continues tonight at 8pm. Come with an expectation because the God who heard David still listens to His people today.

I pray that the Lord strengthens your prayer life and gives you confidence to call upon Him in every season. May He hear your cry and demonstrate His strength on your behalf, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Stay blessed!
