On 19 June 2026, the Honourable Godwin Bobobee, District Chief Executive for the Asuogyaman District Assembly, participated in a Capacity Building and Monitoring Visit organized by Parliament’s Committee on Local Government and Rural Development as part of its official oversight mandate.
During the engagement, Honourable Bobobee presented an overview of the Assembly’s performance and highlighted key areas essential for effective local governance and sustainable development. He also provided insights into the utilization of key funding sources, including the District Assemblies Common Fund and the Persons with Disabilities Fund, explaining how these resources have been effectively managed to support development initiatives and improve the livelihoods of residents across the district.
The visit served as an important platform for knowledge sharing, institutional strengthening, and enhanced collaboration between Parliament and local government authorities, all aimed at improving service delivery, promoting accountability, and advancing development at the grassroots level.
